Construction of new chairlift to be postponed
After the events occurred by the Covid-19 and the uncertainty of what will happen in the future, the ski resort Baqueira/Beret has reported a few days ago that postpones for next summer 2021 the facilities of the new TSD Teso Dela Mina. In addition, it also postpones the planned renovation of the Hotel Montarto, where the rooms were to be refurbished.
Depending on whether there is a gradual return to normality, and with all the hygiene measures, they are planning to carry out the renovation of the innovative park and finish the creation of the pond in Beret, to improve the production of artificial snow in that area of the station.
They have also informed that depending on the return to normality of tourism, they will consider making other investments in the coming months.
Of course, they have on the table the study of the necessary sanitary protocols for the next season, so that skiing can be done safely and with hygienic guarantees.
